Spring has sprung in Wardsboro—the birds are singing, the snow has melted, and the spirit of giving is blooming right along with the daffodils. Just in time for the season, the Wardsboro Community Thrift Store is opening its doors for its second year in business, and the volunteer team is excited to welcome you back starting Memorial Day Weekend.
Located on the first floor of the Baptist Church on Cross Road, just up from the West Wardsboro Store, this little gem has quickly become more than just a place to shop—it’s a place to connect. Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a weekend visitor, or returning to your seasonal home in the hills, the thrift store offers great finds, familiar faces, and a warm sense of community.
Gratitude for a Great First Year
The store was originally launched to support the Wardsboro Yoked Parish, and thanks to the generosity of neighbors near and far, it had a wonderful first season. As the team gears up for year two, they want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shopped, or volunteered last summer. Your support has truly made a difference.
What to Expect This Season
Operated entirely by volunteers, the thrift store will once again be open weekends only from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with all proceeds supporting the Wardsboro Yoked Parish’s local outreach.

After opening weekend, donations are welcome any day the store is open, and no appointment is needed.
